“Practical Examination

(a)

A practical test of ability to conduct a standard drill from the Fire Service Drill Book, including the ability to give detailed instructions to, and monitor the performance of, a crew undertaking such a drill;

(b)

An exercise in fireground procedure and control; and

(c)

A practical test of knowledge of an item of fire service equipment, including its design, use, disadvantages and limitations, and of the ability to instruct others on such matters.”
