  "text": "Regulation 5 of the 1978 Regulations shall be amended as follows:\n(a) in paragraph (1)—\n(i) in sub-paragraph (b) the words “and shall not have attained” to the end of that paragraph; and\n(ii) sub-paragraphs (c) and (e), shall be omitted;\n(b) in paragraph (2) in sub-paragraph (b) the letters ‘(c)’and‘(e)’shall be omitted, and\n(c) in paragraph (3)—\n(i) for sub-paragraph (a) there shall be substituted—\n“(a) Paragraph (1) (a), (b), (d) and (ee) shall apply also in relation to the qualifications for appointment of a person as a retained member of a brigade”, and\n(ii) sub-paragraph (b) shall be omitted.",
