# The Fire Services (Compensation) Regulations 1965, Regulation 36: Application of payments


Any payment made by a person to a compensating authority under Regulation 22(1) of these Regulations, by reason that he has received an award by way of repayment of aggregate contributions under the Firemen's Pension Scheme, shall, except in so far as it has been refunded to him, be applied to the payment of compensation which the authority are liable to pay under Part IV of these Regulations.
