# The Firearms (Amendment) Rules 2005

S.I. 2005/3344 · made 4 December 2005

These Rules amend an error in condition 2 of the Shot Gun Certificate which is prescribed in Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Firearms Rules 1968.

## Introductory text

ARMS AND AMMUNITION
Made 4th December 2005
Coming into force 1st January 2006
The Secretary of State makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 28(2) and 53 of the Firearms Act 1968:

## 1 Citation and commencement

These Rules may be cited as the Firearms (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into force on 1st January 2006.

## 2 Amendment to the Firearms Rules 1998

(1) Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Firearms Rules 1998 is amended as follows.
(2) In Condition 2 of the Shot Gun Certificate for the words “without undue delay” substitute “within 7 days”.
