# The Firearms (Amendment) Rules 2013, Rule 3: Amendment to the Firearms Rules 1998


In rule 3 (firearm certificates)—
(a) for paragraph (1), substitute—
“An application for the grant or renewal of a firearm certificate shall be in the form set out in Part 1 of Schedule 1.”;
(b) in paragraph (2), for the words “1 to 16” substitute “1 to 18”;
(c) after paragraph (6), insert—
“(7) An application for the variation of a firearm certificate shall be in the form set out in Part IV of Schedule 1.”
