# The Firearms (Amendment) Rules 2016, Article 3: Amendment to the Firearms Rules 1998


In rule 5(1) (shotgun certificates), omit the words “and, in the case of an application for renewal, shall be accompanied by the certificate to be renewed if it is available”.
