# The Firefighters’ Compensation Scheme (England) (Amendment) Order 2006, Paragraph 9


In Part 9 (review, withdrawal and forfeiture of awards)—
(a) in rule 2 (reduction of award in case of default)
(i) in paragraph (2), for sub-paragraph (b) substitute—
“(b) the amount of the reduced pension is less than that of the notional deferred pension—
(i) if the person is a member of the 1992 Scheme, on his 60th birthday,
(ii) if the person is a member of the 2006 Scheme, on his 65th birthday,”; and
(ii) in paragraph (3), for “the Pension Scheme”, substitute “the 1992 Scheme or rule 3 of Part 3 of the 2006 Scheme”; and
(b) in rule 3 (withdrawal of pension during service as regular firefighter), omit “regular”.
