Powers under sections 34 and 60 of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 were vested, in relation to Wales, in the National Assembly for Wales by section 62 of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004. The functions of the National Assembly for Wales were transferred to the Welsh Ministers under section 162 of, and paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to, the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c. 32).
