  "text": "(1) Part 2 is amended as follows.\n(2) In rule 2 (part-time, retained and volunteer firefighters)—\n(a) in paragraph (1) for “this Part” substitute “rule 1” and omit “by virtue of which his pensionable service is reckonable”;\n(b) in paragraph (2)(a) omit “retained or”;\n(c) in paragraph (2)(b) for “this Part” substitute “rule 1”; and\n(d) after paragraph (2) insert—\n“(3) Where a person—\n(a) is employed as a retained firefighter; and\n(b) is entitled to an award under rule 1,\nthe award must be calculated in accordance with Part 3 of Schedule 1.”",
