Article 1 Citation and commencement

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme (Amendment) (England) Order 2008.

(2)

This Order shall come into force on 29^th February 2008, but—

(a)

the amendment made by article 2 and paragraph 1 of the Schedule so far as it relates to new rule B5A (entitlement to two pensions) shall have effect from 1st April 2007; and

(b)

the other amendments shall have effect from 1st July 2007.
