# The Firefighters’ Pension Scheme (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2026, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2026/281 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Made at 9.02 a.m. on 17th March 2026
Laid before Parliament at 4.00 p.m. on 17th March 2026
Coming into force 31st March 2026
The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 34(1), (2), and (4), and 60(2) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004.
In accordance with section 34(5) of that Act, the Secretary of State consulted those persons the Secretary of State considers appropriate.
