# The Firefighters’ Pension Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Order 2025, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 16th December 2025
Laid before the Scottish Parliament 18th December 2025
Coming into force 21st February 2026
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(1), (2) and (4) and section 60(2)(a) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004.
In accordance with section 34(5) of that Act, the Scottish Ministers have consulted with such persons as they consider appropriate.
