Paragraph 34

for paragraph (1)(a), substitute—

“(a)

(i)

in retiring from a brigade before 1st October 2004, or from employment with a fire and rescue authority before 1st April 2006, became entitled to an injury pension under rule B4 (as it existed before that date)^f2; or

(ii)

on retiring from employment with a fire and rescue authority on or after 1st April 2006, becomes entitled to an injury pension under the Compensation Scheme, and”; and

in paragraph (1)(b), for “in the circumstances and within the period mentioned in rule K1(1) to (4),”, substitute “following an offer of employment under rule K1A(2)(b),”.
