  "text": "(1) The title of this Order is the Firefighters’ Pension Scheme (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2014.\n(2) Subject to paragraph (3) this Order comes into force on 31 December 2014.\n(3) The amendments made by article 2 and the Schedule have effect from 1 April 2014 but the provisions listed in the first column of the table below (and described in the second column) have effect from the corresponding date in the third column—\nParagraph of the Schedule to this Order\nDescription\nTaking effect date\n2(2)\nwhich relates to rule 1 (scheme membership) of Part 2 of the Scheme\n31 December 2012\n3(5)\nwhich inserts new rule 2A (retrospective award on ill-health retirement) in Part 3 of the Scheme\n1 July 2013\n3(10)(a)\nwhich substitutes wording in paragraph (2) of rule 7A (additional pension benefit: long service)\n1 July 2013\n3(10)(b) to (d)\nwhich relates to rule 7A (additional pension benefit: long service) of Part 3 (personal awards) of the Scheme\n11 April 2011\n3(11)\nwhich substitutes for rule 7B (additional pension benefit: continual professional development) of Part 3 of the Scheme, rule 7B (additional pension benefit)\n11 April 2011, in relation to paragraph (3) of rule 7B and the definitions of “beginning date” and “following relevant tax year” in paragraph (6) of rule 7B.\nOtherwise,\n1 July 2013\n7(3)\nwhich relates to rule 5 (appeals on other issues) in Part 8 of the Scheme\n1 July 2013\n9(8)(a)\nwhich relates to paragraph (5) of rule 6 of Part 10 of the Scheme\n1 July 2013\n10(2)\nwhich relates to rule 1 (pensionable pay) of Part 11 of the Scheme\n1 July 2013\n10(3)(a)\nwhich relates to rule 2 (final pensionable pay) of Part 11 of the Scheme\n1 July 2013\n12\nwhich inserts a new paragraph (11) in rule 2 (payments and transfers into Firefighters’ Pension Fund) of Part 13 of the Scheme\n1 July 2013\n18\nwhich relates to Annex 2 (appeals to board of medical referees)\n1 July 2013",
