  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order amends the New Firefighters' Pension Scheme (Wales) (“the Scheme”) set out in Schedule 1 to the Firefighters' Pension Scheme (Wales) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007/1072 (W.110)), with effect from 1 April 2013.\nArticle 3 inserts the word “percentage” to clarify the meaning of a provision amended by the Firefighters' Pension Scheme (Wales) (Contributions) (Amendment) Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/972 (W.127)).\nArticle 4 amends the Scheme to provide a different rate for pension contributions payable by members of the Scheme which increases according to the amount of pensionable pay which the member receives.\nIn addition, a new band of pensionable pay has been created so that those firefighters who earn more than £15,000 and up to and including £21,000 will pay a lower rate than those earning more than £21,000.\nThe Welsh Ministers' Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to this Order. As a result, a regulatory impact assessment has been prepared as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with this Order.
