Coming into force 1st November 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 26 of the Fire Services Act 1947, the Secretary of State, with the approval of the Treasury and after consultation with the Central Fire Brigades Advisory Council and the Scottish Central Fire Brigades Advisory Council, hereby makes the following Order:
