Coming into force 11th May 1998
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 26 of the Fire Services Act 1947 and section 12, as applied by section 16(3), of the Superannuation Act 1972, with the approval of the Treasury and after consultation with the Central Fire Brigades Advisory Council and the Scottish Central Fire Brigades Advisory Council, hereby makes the following Order:
