# The Firemen’s Pension Scheme (Amendment) (Scotland) Order 2016, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 4th February 2016
Coming into force 1st April 2016
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1) to (5) of the Fire Services Act 1947 and sections 12 and 16 of the Superannuation Act 1972 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
