# The Firemen’s Pension Scheme (Amendment) (Scotland) Order 2018, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before the Scottish Parliament 29th June 2018
Coming into force 28th October 2018
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1) to (5) of the Fire Services Act 1947 and section 12 of the Superannuation Act 1972, as applied by section 16(3) of that Act, and all other powers enabling them to do so.
