The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 26 of the Fire Services Act 1947f1 and section 12 of the Superannuation Act 1972f2, as applied by section 16(3) of that Act, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, with the consent of the Treasuryf3 and after consultation with the Central Fire Brigades Advisory Council, hereby makes the following Order:
