  "text": "CONSUMER PROTECTION\nMade 23rd September 1997\nLaid before Parliament 24th September 1997\nComing into force\nRegulations 3(2), 4(1)(b), 4(2 )(f) and 7 31st December 1997\nRemainder 15th October 1997\nWhereas the Secretary of State has, in accordance with section 11(5) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987, consulted such organisations as appear to her to be representative of interests substantially affected by these Regulations, such other persons as she considers appropriate and the Health and Safety Commission:\nNow, therefore, the Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 11 of that Act hereby makes the following Regulations:—",
