Regulation 1 Citation, commencement, revocation and extent

These Regulations may be cited as the Fireworks (Safety) Regulations 1997 and, except as provided for by paragraph (2) below, shall come into force on 15th October 1997.

Regulations 3(2), 4(1)(b), 4(2)(f) and 7 shall come into force on 31st December 1997.

The Fireworks (Safety) Regulations 1996^f1 are hereby revoked.

These Regulations shall not extend to Northern Ireland.
