Regulation 5 Identification of aquaculture animals and aquaculture products
(1)
No person shall despatch aquaculture animals or aquaculture products unless information is provided in accordance with paragraph (2) below which—
(a)
identifies the consignment;
(b)
enables the farm of origin or the place of origin of the consignment to be traced; and
(c)
enables the contents of the consignment to be linked to the movement document relating to the consignment, where a movement document is required by these Regulations.
(2)
The information referred to in paragraph (1) above shall be provided on the container for the consignment, on a label fixed to the container or on the movement document.
