# The Fishing Vessels (Financial Assistance) Scheme 1987, Section 22: Recovery where false statement made


If any person makes a false statement or furnishes false information in connection with an application for grant under this Scheme, the Minister may recover as a civil debt a sum equivalent to the amount of any grant already made in relation to that application.
