  "text": "(This note is not part of the Rules)\nThese Rules amend the Fishing Vessels (Safety Provisions) Rules 1975. They provide for surveys of radio equipment on fishing vessels carried out in the United Kingdom to be carried out by surveyors appointed by British Telecom. Such surveys if carried out elsewhere may be done by British Telecom surveyors or surveyors of the Department of Transport.",
