# The Fishing Vessels (Safety Provisions) Rules 1975, Article 127: Duration of certificates


Except as otherwise provided in these Rules, a United Kingdom fishing vessel certificate shall be in force for 48 months from the date of its issue or such shorter period as may be specified in the certificate.
