# The Fishing Vessels (Safety Provisions) Rules 1975, Article 69: Sounding equipment


In every vessel of 12 metres in length and over to which these Rules apply a mechanical depth sounding device or echo depth sounding equipment suitable for navigational purposes shall be provided.
