# The Fishing Vessels (Safety Provisions) Rules 1975, Paragraph 4


At any temperature between 15°C and 18°C inclusive, the extinguisher shall discharge gas at such a rate that carbon dioxide equal in weight to 3/4 of the capacity of the container will be discharged in the periods respectively set for them in the following table:—

16 kilogrammes
30 to 45 seconds
45 kilogrammes
60 to 90 seconds
