# The Fixed Penalty (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2013, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2013/1569 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
Representative organisations have been consulted in accordance with section 88(2) of that Act.
