# The Flags (Northern Ireland) Order 2000, Article 3: Flying of flags

Extent: N.I.

(1) The Secretary of State may make regulations regulating the flying of flags at government buildingsand court-houses.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1) “government building” means a building wholly or mainly occupied by members of the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
