# The Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 10th January 2008
Laid before Parliament 15th January 2008
Coming into force 15th February 2008
The Secretary of State is designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to the control of air pollution.
He makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section.
