  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations, which come into force on 1st July 1996, amend the Fodder Plant Seeds Regulations 1993 so as to implement Commission Directive 96/18/EC (OJ No. L76, 26.3.96, p. 21) amending various Council Directives on the marketing of seeds and propagating materials. The maximum seed lot weight for seeds of common vetch, field bean, field pea, narrow-leaved lupin (blue lupin), white lupin and yellow lupin is increased to 25 tonnes.\nThese Regulations also make provision for the minimum requirements in respect of primary sampling of seed lots of 20,001 kg and above.",
