  "heading": "Compulsory purchase of land.",
  "text": "A local authority may be authorised by the responsible Minister to purchase land compulsorily for the purposes of this Act, except for the purposes of paragraph (b) of section 50(1), and in relation to the compulsory purchase of land under this section—\n(a) the Aquisition of Land Act 1981 applies; and\n(b) “land” includes any interest in land and any easement or right in, to or over land.\nIn this section “the responsible Minister”, in relation to the purposes of section 70, means the Minister, and in relation to the other purposes of this Act means the Secretary of State.",
