  "text": "Exiting The European Union\nFood\nWeights And Measures\nSift requirements satisfied 26th February 2019\nMade 7th March 2019\nLaid before Parliament 12th March 2019\nComing into force in accordance with regulation 1\nThe Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 .\nThe requirements of paragraph 3(2) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (relating to the appropriate Parliamentary procedure for these Regulations) have been satisfied.\nThere has been consultation as required by Article 9 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety .",
