# The Food Safety Act 1990 (Consequential Modifications) (Scotland) Order 1990, Article 21: The Milk (Special Designations) (Scotland) Order 1988


In article 2(1) of the said Order after the definition of “bulk milk” there shall be inserted the following definition:–
““catering sale” means a sale of milk, or of things made from milk or of which milk is an ingredient, as, or as part of, a meal or refreshments; and “caterer” means a person who carries on a business which consists of or comprises making such sales;”.
