  "text": "(1) In so far as any existing regulations made, or having effect as if made, under any provision of the 1984 Act specified in the first column of Table A below have effect in relation to England and Wales, they shall have effect, after the commencement of the relevant repeal, as if made under the provisions of this Act specified in relation to that provision in the second column of that Table, or such of those provisions as are applicable.\n(2) In this paragraph and paragraphs 3 and 4 below “existing regulations” means—\n(a) any regulations made, or having effect as if made, under a provision repealed by this Act; and\n(b) any orders having effect as if made under such regulations,\nwhich are in force immediately before the coming into force of that repeal; and references to the commencement of the relevant repeal shall be construed accordingly.\nTABLE A\nProvision of the 1984 Act\nProvision of this Act\nsection 4 (composition etc. of food)\nsections 16(1)(a), (c) and (f) and (3) and 17(1)\nsection 7 (describing food)\nsection 16(1)(e)\nsection 13 (food hygiene)\nsection 16(1)(b), (c), (d) and (f), (2) and (3)\nsection 33 (milk and dairies)\nsection 16(1)(b), (c), (d) and (f), (2) and (3)\nsection 34 (registration), so far as relating to dairies or dairy farms\nsection 19\nsection 38 (milk: special designations)\nsection 18(2)\nsection 73(2) (qualification of officers)\nsection 5(6)\nsection 76(2) (public analysts)\nsection 27(2)\nsection 79(5) (form of certificate)\nsection 49(2)\nsection 119 ( EU provisions)\nsection 17(2)",
