# The Foreign Compensation Commission (Amendment) Rules, Approval Instrument 1958, Introduction: Introductory text


FOREIGN COMPENSATION
Made 26th November 1958
Laid before Parliament 2nd December 1958
Coming into Operation 3rd December 1958
Whereas the Foreign Compensation Commission have, in pursuance of their powers under section 4 of the Foreign Compensation Act, 1950 made rules of procedure and have submitted them to me for my approval:
Now, therefore, I, David Viscount Kilmuir, Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 4 and section 8 of the Foreign Compensation Act, 1950, do hereby approve the said rules in the form set out in the schedule hereto.
