# The Foreign Compensation Commission (Czechoslovakia) (Amendment) Rules Approval Instrument 1985, Note: Explanatory note


Under the Foreign Compensation Commission (Czechoslovakia) Rules 1982 an applicant may appear before the Commission in person or be represented by a barrister or solicitor. The purpose of these amending Rules is to provide that an applicant may also be represented by a relative or personal friend who has the authority of the applicant to represent him in that behalf.
