  "heading": "Unauthorised felling: exemptions",
  "text": "(1) Section 23 does not apply to felling carried out in accordance with provision made in regulations made by the Scottish Ministers.\n(2) Regulations under subsection (1) may, in particular, provide that section 23 does not apply to—\n(a) particular categories of person,\n(b) particular places or activities,\n(c) particular circumstances,\n(d) trees of particular descriptions.\n(3) Regulations under subsection (1) may modify any enactment (including this Act).",
