  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations prescribe the forms of the entries to be made in the Parental Order Register pursuant to directions made by a court granting a parental order under section 30 of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990 (c. 37). A parental order may be granted in respect of a child who is born as a result of a surrogacy arrangement and who is genetically related to at least one of the applicants for the order.\nThe Parental Order (Human Fertilisation and Embryology) Regulations 1994 (S. I. 1994/2767) make provision, by paragraph 4(a) of Schedule 1 to those Regulations, for a certified copy of an entry in the Register to be received as evidence of the date and place of birth of the child in all respects as if it were a certified copy of an entry in the Registers of Births.",
