# The Forth and Tay Road Bridge Order Confirmation Acts (Modification) Order 1996, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Forth and Tay Road Bridge Order Confirmation Acts (Modification) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st April 1996.
(2) In this Order—
“the 1947 Act” means the Forth Road Bridge Order Confirmation Act 1947;
“the 1950 Act” means the Forth Road Bridge Order Confirmation Act 1950;
“the 1991 Act” means the Tay Road Bridge Order Confirmation Act 1991.
