# The Foundation Body Regulations 1999, Regulation 17: Accounts


(1) The foundation body shall maintain accounts and ensure that they are audited by independent external auditors. The foundation body shall publish in each financial year a copy of the accounts for the previous financial year as audited together with a statement that they have been audited.
(2) The foundation body shall comply within 2 months with a written request from any person that he be supplied with a copy of the body’s most recent accounts.
