# The Foundation Subject (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2000, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Foundation Subject (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 20th July 2000.
(2) In this Order —
“the Act” (“y Ddeddf”) means the Education Act 1996;
“the Authority” (“yr Awdurdod”) means the Qualifications, Curriculum and Assessment Authority for Wales; and
“the National Assembly” (“y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol”) means the National Assembly for Wales.
