# The Foyle Area (Angling Permits) Regulations 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into operation 1st November 2011
The Foyle, Carlingford and Irish Lights Commission, with the approval of the North/South Ministerial Council, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 13(1) and 14B(1)(b) of the Foyle Fisheries Act 1952 and sections 13(1) and 14B(1)(b) of the Foyle Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1952 and now vested in it.
