# The Free Zone (Southampton) Designation (Variation) Order 1994, Introduction: Introductory text


CUSTOMS AND EXCISE
Made 24th May 1994
Coming into force 1st June 1994
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 100A(4)(a)(ii) of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and with the agreement of Southampton Free Trade Zone Limited, hereby make the following Order:
