This Order varies the area designated a free zone by the Free Zone (Southampton) Designation Order 1991 by reducing it from 6.8 acres to 5.495 acres. The reduction of 1.305 acres is effected by the movement of the eastern boundary of the zone some 220 feet in a westerly direction.

Southampton Free Zone is situated at berth 102 Southampton Docks on the north bank of Southampton Water adjacent to the Windward terminal. Access to the zone is through dock gate 10 and then via Solent Road.
