# The Freight Containers (Safety Convention) Regulations 2017, Regulation 9: Marking in accordance with British Standard


(1) Where the stacking or racking values are less than 192,000kg or 150kN, respectively, the container must be conspicuously marked as required under British Standard Freight Containers – Coding, identification and marking, as revised or reissued from time to time, at or before the next scheduled examination.
(2) In this regulation “scheduled examination” means the next examination conducted in accordance with regulation 8.
