# The Friendly Societies Act 1992 (Amendment) Regulations 1994, Regulation 8: Margins of solvency


In subsection (1) of section 48 of the 1992 Act (margins of solvency in relation to insurance business of certain societies), in paragraphs (a) and (b) the words “in the United Kingdom” shall cease to have effect.
