Article 2

The following provisions of the Friendly Societies Act 1992 shall come into force on 1st January 1993—

(i)

section 84 (disputes under the National Savings Bank Act 1971^f1 and the National Debt Act 1972^f2);

(ii)

section 120(1) (amendments) to the extent necessary to bring into force the provisions of Part I of Schedule 21 specified in the following paragraph; and

(iii)

In Part I of Schedule 21, paragraphs 2 to 4.
