# The Friendly Societies (Authorisation) Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text


FRIENDLY SOCIETIES
Made 21st January 1993
Laid before Parliament 25th January 1993
Coming into force 19th February 1993
The Friendly Societies Commission, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 13 and section 121(3) of the Friendly Societies Act 1992 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
